A Music for Aardvarks class offers an exciting interactive musical experience for parents and children ages 6 months to 5 years. Song,dance and rhythm combine for a rockin' good time. It's a foot stomping, jingle shaking, drum drumming hullabaloo both kids and parents will love!

Announcing Big Aardvarks Drop Off!

This winter we are starting a high energy DROP OFF class designed for the creative minds and active bodies of older pre-schoolers, ages 3 and up. This hour long class is designed with big movement, big fun, big drumming and big jamming in mind! Each week features a musical instrument of the day, storytime, and quiet time. We introduce the basic concepts of music through interactive play. Classes are available in both our Rockland and Riverdale locations. Class size is limited to 8 children so reserve your space while they last.

In case that wasn't enough we decided to start the winter right by offering an entire week of FREE drop in classes.

Registration for our Winter 2011 semester is going on now.

Our regular semester classes begin in Riverdale on Monday, January 9th. Classes run for 12 weeks.

Please note there will be no classes on Jan 16th (MLK day) and the week of Feb 20-24 (school winter break).

All ages classes are geared for children ages 6 months to 6 years. Baby classes are for kiddos age 1 and under. Big kid drop off is designed for kids 3+

Sibling Discount: The second child enrolling in the same class as a sibling gets a 50% discount. (Children 6 months and under may accompany an older sibling at no charge.)

All Tuitions include a Music for Aardvarks CD (one per family).

Wondering what the fuss is all about? Sample Music for Aardvarks in action with Kids Rock Saturdays!

This "best of" Music for Aardvarks class is a great way to get to know us! On select Saturdays, this open to the public class will demonstrate why we are the most fun, funky children's music program in Riverdale! The price $15 per child, $10 for each sibling.

Expectations for Grown-ups

We love to make music with your chidlren, but we need your help! We need you as parents and caregivers to be your children's role models. If they see you bopping along, singing, dancing and playing instruments, they'll want to do the same. If they see you chatting on a cellphone or to your neighbor, they won't understand how important it is to participate. They more that you put into our classes, the more you and your child will get out of them. We are definitely not the "sit back and let us entertain your child" kind of place. And just a reminder, grown ups are responsible for the safety of their children during our classes.

Makeups

Each family is permitted two makeup classes per semester. A makeup must be scheduled with the teacher and the exact time will be dependent on space available. A makeup may not be rescheduled if missed.

Refunds

Tuition fees are fully refundable before the first class of the semester begins. 50% of tuition fees will be refunded if cancellation occurs within the first two weeks of the semester. No refunds will be issued after two weeks.

Visitor Policy

Adult family and visitors are always welcome. Registered families wishing to bring a child as a guest may do so for a $10 fee. All child guests must be scheduled in advance and may only attend if room allows. There is a 2 child visit maximum per family per semester. Babies under 6 months may always attend at no charge.

Privacy Policy

Kids Rock U reserves the right to send emails and brochures pertaining to Kids Rock U business only. Children and adults attending Kids Rock U events may be photographed for promotional purposes. We will never share our customers data with outside parties.
